Hardware Warranty
Our standard warranty is a "Return to Base" warranty which means that goods must be returned to the Systech workshop for investigation and repair. During the warranty if you require a visit to your site the time involved will be chargeable although in all cases any parts used will be free of charge. Each complete computer will carry a label with the installation date and the phone number for support. After the warranty period any problems will be dealt with as per our standard Support Service. Note that the warranty is designed to apply to incorrect operation of an item and is not designed as a replacement for training or reading the user manuals.

Faults to be reported to 45305 between the hours of 9:00 and 17:00 Monday to Friday during normal working days.

Equipment that we have supplied is guaranteed against failure due to wear and tear for a period of 12 months from delivery during which time any reproducible faults will be rectified free of charge. This does not cover any other faults such as negligence, malicious damage, or repair by unauthorized personnel. Faults caused in this way will be dealt with as per the Support Service detailed below. The warranty may be invalidated if the case is removed and any of the existing settings changed or new adapter cards inserted. This is because this type of change can cause parts of the system to malfunction. Any such changes made by Systech will of course maintain the warranty.

Software Warranty
Package Software
Software that is supplied from the manufacturers in standard form and is installed onto your computer is called package software. The most common examples are Microsoft’s Windows and Office products. Where this software is installed by Systech, its correct operation is guaranteed for a period of 14 days from delivery. As important installation and configuration details of this software can be easily altered by any users this warranty cannot be extended. For this reason we recommend the purchase of the complete original software packages with manuals. After this period any problems will be dealt with as per our standard Support Service.

Software Written by Systech
For software modules that have been produced by Systech all faults or omissions will be corrected free of charge on an ongoing basis. The only qualification of this is that such faults must be reproducible and demonstrable. Any other time expended will be charged out as per the rates below. It is possible to cause significant faults by incorrect changes to the system, such as workstation, server, operating system and cabling modifications. Systech reserves the right to invalidate the warranty if a third party has modified an important part of the system, without Systech’s knowledge and approval, and has caused such problems. The duration of this invalidity shall be until the related fault is corrected by Systech.
