Hardware Warranty Faults to be reported to 45305 between the hours of 9:00 and 17:00 Monday to Friday during normal working days. Equipment that we have supplied is guaranteed against failure due to wear and tear for a period of 12 months from delivery during which time any reproducible faults will be rectified free of charge. This does not cover any other faults such as negligence, malicious damage, or repair by unauthorized personnel. Faults caused in this way will be dealt with as per the Support Service detailed below. The warranty may be invalidated if the case is removed and any of the existing settings changed or new adapter cards inserted. This is because this type of change can cause parts of the system to malfunction. Any such changes made by Systech will of course maintain the warranty. Software Warranty For software modules that have been produced by Systech all faults or omissions will be corrected free of charge on an ongoing basis. The only qualification of this is that such faults must be reproducible and demonstrable. Any other time expended will be charged out as per the rates below. It is possible to cause significant faults by incorrect changes to the system, such as workstation, server, operating system and cabling modifications. Systech reserves the right to invalidate the warranty if a third party has modified an important part of the system, without Systechs knowledge and approval, and has caused such problems. The duration of this invalidity shall be until the related fault is corrected by Systech. |
