For many years Systech has been a Sage Development Centre and provided development and support services to almost all the Sage Line 100 users in Gibraltar. With EcomPlus we are now able to bring this expertise to the world of e-commerce.

We aim to offer a personalised service to make your on-line e-commerce site as good as it can be by extending our proven business expertise into the Web arena and to support you as your business increases and your web site develops.

We have seen that many companies wish to place their products on the Internet and require help in achieving this aim. To many companies the term e-commerce may mean a few pages of product information with a simple interface. This type of catalogue is offered by many Internet Service Providers (ISPs) either directly or through "Point and Click" products provided by third parties such as WorldPay.

These solutions are very fast and inexpensive to implement. However they may not offer all the facilities that many companies require. This is where Systech and the EcomPlus product come in. Systech is not an ISP but an ASP, an Application Services Provider. This means that we can use our own in-house developed software to create your site either on our servers or on your servers on your premises. As we created all the software, we can provide advanced facilities for your site and even modify it to do things you want it to do. By combining the skills of our graphic designers and software developer we will design your whole site to create the most professional finish that you can get and the system can handle as many products as you like.

The core of the EcomPlus package has been designed to contain a huge number of products and their associated specifications and pictures to produce your on-line catalogue. It also provides facilities for multi-variant, multi-currency personalised pricing structures to enable sales of any type of product to any part of the world. The Shopping Basket section allows customers to assemble multi-line orders and select valid shipping options.

In addition we can link it to the Sage Line 100 Accounting System which is accessible by your accountant to give you all the accounting functions that you would expect in your own office to produce your Management Accounts. Line 100 also allows full sales order processing, stock management and you to support credit customers where you have set them up as such in the Sales Ledger. If you use the Line 100 Stock Control option, EcomPlus will also automatically import your Sage items with prices.

For on-line payment the EcomPlus system interfaces with the WorldPay, Planet Payment and Barclay’s BMS payment gateways. You will require your own merchant account with one of these companies in order to trade on the Internet.

Having received an order on the Web you must now deliver it. The "Fulfilment Centre" is the place where goods will be delivered and probably customer support calls will be handled there too. No web site can succeed with poor customer service from the fulfilment centre. EcomPlus can be configured in various ways depending on the capabilities of the fulfilment centre. It can send e-mails to the fulfilment centre or interface directly to the fulfilment centre via the Internet. If the Accounts System link is active it can also directly create Line 100 Sales Orders which in turn will look after invoicing, warehouse operations and purchasing. Refunds to customers can be initiated via the management screens or from the fulfilment centre interface.
