Systech was formed by the Bassadone Group of companies, in Nov 1994. The Bassadone Group had for many years undertaken its own software and hardware maintenance which had resulted in one of the largest computer networks in Gibraltar. It was decided to offer this expertise to outside customers through the new computer company. Due to being part of this large Group (>£35 million turnover) and due to the commitment to supporting the Group as it had before the formation of the Systech company proper, Systech is as stable as the Bassadone Group itself. In this way we can offer a long term relationship which probably cannot be matched locally.

Although we have sold a lot of computers for home use, our main expertise however is in assembling networked systems for business use. Very often these involve accounting systems and we are an authorized Sage Dealer so can provide both Line 50 and Line 100 products. Sage hold the largest market share of accounting software in the UK. However in addition we are the only Sage Development Centre in Gibraltar, which means that we have the tools and expertise to modify or enhance the Sage Line 100 system.

Line 100 is a large modular product which can be tailored to a very high level to meet specific needs. We have installed Line 100 systems at a number of sites all of which have been modified by us locally to a greater or lesser extent. Many of our developed systems are mission critical to our customers and demand high performance and availability.

As the quality of work depends on the quality of the individual, the staff at Systech have a very strong spread of skills, all locally based.
